If you've ever driven down Ring Road No 1 in Raipur, you probably know where we are. Changora Bhata is a busy area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and cars in the background. Our school building sits right in the middle of all that noise. In the morning, it’s a bit of a mess with parents on scooters dropping off their kids at the front. We have a small office where we handle the fees and admissions, and it’s usually piled with files and registers. The classrooms are basic, just desks and blackboards, but they get the job done for the students. We don't have a massive campus, so we use every bit of space we have for the children to move around. During the lunch break, you can hear everyone shouting and playing from a block away. Our staff usually brings lunch from home and we sit together in the small break room to eat and talk. Sometimes we have issues with the internet or the plumbing, like any other old building around here. We just deal with it and move on with our day. People from the local colony know us as the neighborhood school. It’s not a shiny corporate institution, just a place where Raipur kids come to learn their subjects and hang out with friends. We keep it simple and try to stay organized despite the chaos of the city right outside our gates.
