Happy Kids A Play School

Our play school is tucked into the RDA Colony in the Tikrapara area of Raipur. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit more quiet than the main city parts. We have a few rooms that we have decorated with bright colors to make it look cheerful for the little ones. There are mats on the floor and containers full of plastic toys and building blocks. The backyard has a small area where they can run around for a bit, though it gets very hot in Chhattisgarh during the summer months. We usually have the kids inside during the peak heat. You can hear the sounds of nursery rhymes playing sometimes if you walk past the gate. We have a small desk near the front door where we keep the registers and the first aid kit. The parents usually live quite close by, so there is a lot of chatting at the gate during drop-off and pick-up times. We don't have any fancy technology, just simple things like crayons, paper, and blocks. The kitchen area is where we keep the snacks and water bottles. It is a small operation, run by people who live right here in Raipur. Every day is a bit different depending on how the kids are feeling. It is a bit messy, a bit noisy, and very much a local neighborhood spot.
