Funkafield Play School Activity Centre

At Funkafield Play School Activity Centre, things are rarely quiet. We are located at B-8 Shri Ram Nagar in Shanker Nagar, Raipur. Since we deal with little kids, there is always some sort of noise happening. It might be someone crying for their mom or a group of them laughing over a game. The floors are usually covered in blocks or bits of paper from the afternoon craft session. We spend a lot of our time just wiping sticky hands and making sure nobody bumps their head on the furniture. The building is basically a converted house, so it feels more like a home than a sterile school. We have a small area outside for them to run around, though we have to bring them in quickly when the Raipur heat gets too much. Parents drop their children off early in the morning, often in a hurry to get to work. We take the kids in, hang up their bags, and start the day. There’s no big corporate office behind us. It’s just a few of us making sure the children are safe and occupied. We have shelves full of toys that have seen a lot of play over the years. By the time the afternoon activity session ends, the place looks a bit like a mess, but we tidy it up for the next morning. It’s tiring work, but it’s what we do here in Shri Ram Nagar.
