S. L. & Sons

S. L. & Sons has been operating out of Choubey Colony for quite a while now. Our place is at No. 2/501, which is easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood. It’s a quiet area for the most part, away from the main city noise. We are basically a family-run setup, so things are pretty informal around here. You might find some of us sitting out front or sorting through papers in the back room. We don’t have a big staff, just the family and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. The shop gets visitors from around the colony and sometimes from further away. We handle various goods, and the inventory changes depending on the season or what people are asking for. It’s not a modern glass building; it’s more of a traditional space where we keep our stuff. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or use the lanterns. That’s just how it is here. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day. We’ve seen the kids in the colony grow up and start their own families. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t do much advertising; people just know where we are and what we do. It's a simple operation, really, nothing too complicated. We open up in the morning and close when the sun goes down, just doing our thing year after year without much fuss or bother.
