You have to head up to the 3rd floor to find us, right opposite Mandi 8 on the main Vidhan Sabha road. It’s a lively area, especially in the mornings when the mandi is in full swing. Being up on the third floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly it just means we get a lot of exercise on the stairs. We spend our time here planning out building projects and going over site reports. It’s a lot of coordination between different people and making sure materials show up where they are supposed to. The office usually has bits of cement dust on the floor from people coming back from site visits. We don’t worry too much about keeping things looking like a showroom. It’s a working office where we solve problems and figure out how to get buildings up. Sometimes we’re out in the field more than we are at our desks, but this is where we all meet up to talk. The noise from the main road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks. We’ve been working on various structures around the city for quite some time now. It’s challenging work, especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate or deliveries are late. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything on track. It’s a practical business for practical people.
