House Number 115 in Wood Iland Colony is where we operate from. We are situated quite close to the Mahadev Ghat, which is a busy area especially during the festivals. Being on the main road means we get a lot of noise from the passing vehicles, but it also makes it simple for our suppliers to find us. We deal with trading various goods and keep a lot of our inventory right here. The building is a mix of a home and a workplace, so it has a very casual feel to it. You might hear the sounds of the neighborhood while we are sitting at the desk going over the books. We still use the old-fashioned way of keeping records in paper registers. It’s worked for us for years, so we don't see a reason to change it now. The colony is generally a friendly place and we know most of the people living around us. We spend a lot of time on the phone making sure that everything we ordered is on its way. Sometimes things get delayed, and we have to spend the whole afternoon trying to track down a truck. It’s just the two of us handling most of the daily work. We don't have a big team, just enough hands to get the job done and keep things organized. It’s a good routine that we’ve built over time and it suits us.
