Balaji Traders

Balaji Traders is located right inside the Pandri Textile Market. If you come in through Gate Number 9, you’ll find us at shop number S-15 pretty quickly. The market is a very busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is unloading their goods. Our shop is filled with different kinds of fabrics and materials. It’s a bit cramped because we try to stock as much as possible. There’s usually someone here from early morning until late at night. We don't have a big office or a reception area. It’s just the shop floor and a small desk where we keep the ledger. We’ve been in Pandri for years, so we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people walking through the market looking for something specific. It can get very hot in the summer, so we have a few old fans running all the time. Sometimes the lights flicker, but we just keep working. We aren't trying to be the most modern shop in the market. We just want to have what people are looking for. It's a lot of lifting and moving rolls of cloth, which keeps us in shape. We like the energy of the market. It feels like we are part of something big, even if our shop is small and the roof leaks a bit when it pours.
