Jeet Art & Publicity

Our shop is in Bramhan Para, right at the busy Mahitosh Chowk. It’s a small place that focuses on art and publicity work. If you walk in, the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of paint and thinners. We do a lot of our work by hand, so there are always brushes soaking in jars and sketches pinned to the walls. It’s not a polished environment by any means. We have ink stains on the floor and our clothes are usually a bit messy. People from the neighborhood often drop in to chat or to ask us to make a quick board for a shop or a local school. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, so we know most of the people who pass by the chowk every day. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy computer system to track everything. We just use a paper calendar and do our best to stay on top of the work. Sometimes we stay late when there is a festival coming up and everyone needs their banners at once. It’s hard on the back and the eyes, but it’s what we know how to do. We take pride in the fact that we still do things the old way when everything else is moving so fast. It feels right for a place like Bramhan Para.
