Glasstec

Our shop, Glasstec, is situated over at Plot No. 222 in Samta Colony. We are right near Pandey Nursing Home, which makes us pretty easy to find if you know the neighborhood. Glass is a tricky thing to work with, but we’ve been at it for years now. It started as a small interest and turned into this business. The workshop is usually filled with crates and cut pieces of glass. You have to be careful where you step. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a working space where we cut, polish, and handle various glass projects. Some days it’s just small window panes, other times it’s something bigger. We aren't a big corporation. We are just local people who know how to handle glass. It’s heavy work and you have to be precise. If you mess up a cut, that’s it, the piece is gone. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main roads, which we like. Most people who come to us are neighbors or people who were told about us by a friend. We don't do much advertising. We just open up in the morning, check what needs to be delivered or fixed, and get on with it. It’s a steady pace. We like being part of Samta Colony and helping out with whatever glass needs come up in the local houses and shops around here.
