Chhatisgarh Tarpaulin Industries is located at Plot No E-56 in Sampa Colony. We are situated right behind the Bank of Baroda, which is usually how people find us. Our work involves a lot of heavy fabrics and tarps. The workshop is always full of the smell of material and the sound of cutting. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don't have a reception area or anything fancy. You just walk in and someone will be there working on a sheet. The floors have some scuffs and the walls are plain, but that doesn't matter much for what we do. We’ve been here in Sampa Colony for a while. Dealing with tarpaulins means we’re often busy when the seasons change. We just keep our heads down and get the stitching done. It’s a small team of us handling the rolls of fabric. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a big order to finish. We use every inch of the plot to lay things out. It’s honest labor and we’re proud of what we put out. No one here wears a suit; we’re usually in our work clothes. If you need a cover for something, we usually have the stuff to make it. It’s a basic business run by people who know the trade. We just stay focused on the work at hand.
