The Urla Industrial Area is a tough place to work because of the dust and the constant noise. Our workshop, Giriraj Hydraulics Private Limited, is located at number 249. It’s a standard industrial shed, nothing fancy or pretty to look at. We spend our time working on hydraulic parts and fixing machinery. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. The sun beats down on the roof and makes the whole place feel like an oven in May. We’ve got some big machines that take up most of the floor space, so you have to watch where you walk. We aren't really the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, we are out there with the guys, getting our hands greasy. We’ve been at plot 249 for quite a while now. We know the other shops around us, and we often borrow tools or parts from each other. It’s a hardworking community out here. We don't spend money on marketing or brochures. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we can do. It’s a simple business model. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know how to do here in Raipur. We just look at the schedule for the day and get to it.
