You can find us near the Sukma Road, right by the damar plant in Thothaparamurumguda. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but that’s where we are in Keshlur, over in the Tokapal block. Our company is all about the farmers here in the Bastar region. We have many members from the local villages who bring their crops to us. It gets quite dusty out here with the trucks and the plant nearby, but the land is good. We focus on what grows best in this part of Chattisgarh. It’s a group effort, really. No one is the big boss; we just work together to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. We deal with the seeds, the harvests, and the buyers who come through Jagdalpur. It is hard work, especially when the heat is high in the summer months. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy website to show off. Most of our business is done face-to-face under the shade of a tree or in our small office space. We make mistakes sometimes, but we always try to fix them quickly. It’s about keeping the farming community strong here. We value the time spent in the fields and the conversations we have with the elders about the seasons. It’s a quiet life, mostly, but there is always something that needs to be hauled or sorted or signed before the day is done and we all go home.
