ARUN TRADE COMBINES

ARUN TRADE COMBINES sits right on N.H. 43 along Mana Road in Devpuri. Since we’re on the national highway, there’s a constant stream of trucks and cars going past our door. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the road activity, but it’s great for business because everyone passes through here. We do a lot of trading and combining different goods for transport. Our building is simple and doesn't have any bells or whistles. We have a small yard out back and an office in the front where we keep the ledgers. It gets quite warm in Devpuri, so we keep the fans going all day. The staff has been around for years, and we’re all used to the rhythm of the highway. We don’t have a big corporate manual or anything; we just know how we like things done. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or slow deliveries, but we make do. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We keep our paperwork in folders and try to stay on top of the stock coming in and out. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We appreciate the people who stop by and we try to be fair in our dealings. That’s just the way it goes for us on Mana Road. Most days we finish up around six and lock up the gates. It is a noisy place but it is where we work.
