We’ve been at the Ring Road No 1 location for a while now. Most people know us for the plants we keep. We spend most of our mornings watering and checking the saplings. It gets pretty busy here, especially when the season changes. Vnr Nursery Pvt Ltd isn't some fancy office, though we are in the Corporate Centercanal Road Crossing area. It's just a place where we grow things. Sometimes the trucks arrive late with soil or pots, and we have to scramble to get everything sorted. People come in asking what grows well in this heat, and we try to tell them what we know from working in the dirt every day. It’s not always pretty. Sometimes plants die or the weather ruins a batch, but we keep going. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from moving heavy bags to answering the phone. If you walk past the canal road crossing, you’ll see our gate. It’s a lot of work keeping things green in the dust of the ring road. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look perfect on paper. We’re usually outside. The office part is just for the paperwork that has to get done. It’s a basic operation. We focus on the plants and hope they take root wherever they end up. We just want to make sure the soil is right before anything leaves our gate.
