Maooli Printers

We started Maooli Printers a few years back right here at 1 Panvel 2nd Cross. This spot is tucked behind the Adarsh Hotel in the Gokulam area and stays pretty busy. Most mornings, the shop smells like fresh ink and there is a lot of noise from the machines running. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and making sure the colors look okay on different types of paper. People from the neighborhood drop by for all sorts of small jobs, from wedding cards to business flyers. It gets a bit cramped in here when we have large orders stacked up, but we manage to find our way around the piles. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, and we have to fix it ourselves while the customers wait. We don’t have a fancy office or a big team, just a couple of us working through the pile of orders. Most of our day is spent at the cutting table or watching the printers spit out pages. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when someone needs something done by tomorrow morning. We’ve been at this same location for a while now and most of the regulars know exactly where to find us. If you walk past the hotel, you’ll see our small sign. It isn’t much to look at, but we keep things moving and try to get the work out the door without too much fuss. We usually have boxes of paper delivered every Tuesday, which makes the space even smaller for a bit. It’s just how we do things here.
