This is the spot for Uttam Galva Steels Ltd in Khopoli, specifically over at the Pardesi Bunglow in Bhanvaj. It is a bit of a different setup since we are staying or working out of a bungalow rather than a big office tower. The area around Bhanvaj is a bit quieter than the main market. Being "Care of Pardesi" means we are tucked into this residential-style building. It feels a bit more like a home than a factory, even though we are part of the steel company. Khopoli weather can get very humid, so being in a bungalow with some space around it helps. There are trees and a bit of a yard. We spend our days here going through the reports and managing whatever comes our way from the main plant. It's not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, someone is just at the desk or maybe out back. The road to get here is simple enough if you are familiar with this part of Khopoli. Bhanvaj has its own pace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the building. It's just where the work is organized. Sometimes the neighbor's dogs bark when a truck goes by, but mostly it is just steady work. People around here know the Pardesi name, so it makes giving directions a lot easier for us. The bungalow has a bit of an old feel to it, and we like it that way. It is better than being in a crowded office block.
