Uttam Galva Steel Limited,Khopoli

Khopoli is where we spend most of our time, specifically over at Mogalwadi in Swami Samarth Nagar. Our branch of Uttam Galva Steel Limited is tucked into Building 4E, at Flat Number 9. It’s a bit of an unusual setup because it feels more like a residential area than a heavy industrial zone, but that is just how we are placed here. Khopoli is a major hub for steel, so being right here in the Raigad district puts us in the middle of all the action. The 410203 pin code is our home base. Living and working so close to the industrial plants means we are always surrounded by the sounds of the factories and the heavy trucks moving through the narrow streets. During the monsoon, this whole area gets incredibly green, but the rain can be a real challenge for our logistics. We spend a lot of time in the office coordinating with the main plant and making sure all the documentation is in order. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the spreadsheets. We don't have any corporate polish or fancy meeting rooms. It is just a practical space where we get the job done. We like the local feel of Swami Samarth Nagar and being part of the Khopoli community.
