Swathi Engineering

Swathi Engineering is a small operation based out of K-1-5 in the Spaghetti Housing Society in Kharghar. It might seem a bit unusual to have an engineering setup in a residential society, but it works for us. We have a small space where we keep our tools and parts. Most of the work we do is for people nearby or small businesses in the Kharghar area. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, with families walking around and kids playing nearby. We try not to make too much noise, but sometimes you can’t avoid the sound of a drill or some metal clanking. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the security guards and the folks living in the other blocks. It’s not like those big industrial plants where you don’t know your neighbor’s name. Here, we are part of the daily life of the society. Our workspace is a bit cramped, but we have everything we need to get the job done. We don't have a front desk or a secretary. If you need us, you just come to the door and knock. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We just want to be a local fixture that people can count on when they have a technical problem that needs fixing. We drink our coffee, do the work, and try to be good neighbors.
