Maksel Engineers

You can find Maksel Engineers over at No. B-4 in the MIDC Industrial Area. Being in the industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us, which we don’t mind. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The workshop is where we spend most of our hours. It’s filled with machines and tools that we use for various engineering tasks. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but the fans help a little. We have a small group of workers who know their way around the equipment. There is always something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be made. We don't have a big reception area or a fancy office. Most people just walk straight into the work area to talk to us. We handle a lot of local contracts and people from other shops nearby often drop in to borrow a tool or ask for advice. The floors are usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, but we clean up every evening before we head home. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to stay late if a machine breaks down and needs to be ready for the next morning. It's just how the engineering business goes. We like being in the MIDC area because everything we need is close by. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually take our breaks and chat.
