Gammon India Ltd

We are based out at Plot No-7 in the Taloja MIDC area. If you know this part of the industrial zone, you know it gets quite dusty and loud with all the trucks moving around. Our site at Gammon India Ltd is basically a lot of concrete, metal, and heavy equipment. Most days start with a lot of noise. We have crews coming in early shifts, and there is always something that needs fixing or moving. Our place has been at this Taloja location for some time. It is not the kind of place you visit for a coffee; it is a working yard. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and making sure the gear is ready for whatever project is next. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a muddy mess, especially near the main gate. We just deal with it. The office is a small building on the side of the plot where we keep the paperwork. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and drivers. It is straightforward work, really. We keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the maintenance. People here wear boots and helmets because that is just how it is. It’s a busy spot in the middle of a busy industrial belt. We just keep our heads down and get through the day.
