Y.S.R School

Our school is situated in the Muchallacamp area of Sindhanur, right on the Raichur Road. We are actually quite close to the Gupta Rice Mill, which is a big landmark for people trying to find where we are located. The school building itself is where everything happens. We have been here in the Raichur district for a while now. It is a bit of a dusty area sometimes because of all the activity on the main road and the mills nearby. We just go about our business day to day without too much trouble. We have students coming from all around the camp and the nearby areas. It is a lot of work keeping the place running, especially with the heat we get in this part of the state. We spend our time organizing classes and making sure the kids have their books ready. We don't have a lot of extra staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from teaching the lessons to fixing the gate when it gets stuck. It is a very hands-on way to run a school. We don't use any fancy systems, just simple notebooks and lists to keep track of things. The school is a big part of our lives and we are usually here from dawn until late in the evening. It is just a regular school trying to serve the people living along Raichur Road. We handle the challenges as they come and try to keep things steady for the children.
