Suraj Pal Singh Hs School is located in Ashwini Colony, which is right on Gadwal Road in Raichur. It’s a busy road with a lot of traffic passing by all the time, so it’s never really quiet outside. The school is a straightforward building where high school students spend their days. We have plenty of classrooms, and you’ll usually find the hallways full of students during their breaks. The furniture is a bit old, but it’s solid and does the job for the daily lessons. Being on Gadwal Road means we get kids coming in from all over the 584102 area. The whole place has a very practical feel to it. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy stuff; we just focus on keeping the school running. In the afternoons, the sun makes the front of the building quite warm. The teachers spend their time at the blackboards, and there’s always the smell of chalk and the sound of chatter. During the monsoon, the ground outside can get a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. Parents often stop by to talk about how their kids are doing. It’s an unpretentious place where the main thing is just the daily work of running a school in Raichur.
