Vidyabharthi School

Vidyabharthi School is out in Masadoddi, in the Yergera area of Raichur. Our address is basically just the school name in Masadoddi, as everyone around here knows where it is anyway. We are in a more rural part of the 584133 zip code, which gives the school a different feel than the ones in the middle of the city. It’s a bit more peaceful out here. We have local children coming from the nearby villages and farms to attend classes. The school is a basic building with what we need to teach the kids their daily lessons. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just about the teachers and the students getting through the curriculum together. We deal with things like the heat in the summer and making sure everyone has a way to get to school from the surrounding areas. The staff here are very much part of the community in Yergera. We know the families and we see them at the market or around town. We don’t have a marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people hear about us through word of mouth. It’s a very practical way to run a school. We just focus on the day-to-day work of keeping the classrooms running and making sure the kids are getting an education.
