Sridoddabasaveshwara Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Deodurga, specifically on Shahapur Road. You can find us at the spot marked for Shaik Sab’s son, right near the Hindustan Trailers shop. It’s a dusty part of the road, but there’s a lot of activity with all the tractors and trailers passing by. We set this up to help the farmers in this area get their crops together and find better ways to sell. Deodurga is a hardworking place, and we try to reflect that in how we run things. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or polished floors. Most of the time, the office is full of farmers sitting around talking about the rain or the price of seeds. We keep track of the harvests and try to organize everything so it's less of a headache for everyone involved. It’s a bit informal here; you might have to wait a minute if we are out back looking at a shipment. The name is a bit of a mouthful, so most people just call us the farmer company. We aren't doing this to become some big city corporation. It’s more about making sure the local agricultural community has a place to meet and do business. Every day is different depending on what’s being harvested. Sometimes it’s cotton, other times it’s grain. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized with our notes and files.
