We are tucked away at H No 165-12 in Lingsugur. If you know where the SBI Bank is, we are right behind it, near the garden area. It’s a pretty decent spot because everyone goes to the bank for their business anyway, so they usually see us too. Krc Farmers is our little group. We started it because we needed a place to organize better. Lingsugur can be a tough place to farm if you don't have some kind of support. We spend our time looking at how to improve the yield without spending a whole fortune on chemicals. It’s not a polished business office. The walls could probably use a bit of paint and the ceiling fans are a bit noisy in the afternoon heat. But the work gets done regardless. We handle the local produce and try to find better ways to get it out to the buyers. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time on the government paperwork than in the actual fields, but that’s how these companies work. We aren't big-city people. We know the smell of the rain on the dry ground and the sound of the tractors starting up at 5 AM. Being behind the bank is handy for the members. They can finish their banking and then come talk to us about the next harvest. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than just doing a good job for the guys out in the sun.
