We are based over here on Shivaji Road in Rahuri. It’s a busy enough spot and most of the people around here know Sachin Ramdas Borude since the office is right there at his place. We started Vmr Agro Producer Company Limited because it felt like the right time to get something going for the farmers in the Ahmednagar district. Rahuri has always been a place where people work hard on the land, and we are just a part of that now. Most days involve a lot of talking to neighbors and trying to figure out what’s happening with the crops this season. It isn't anything fancy, just a group of us trying to make the work a bit more organized than it was before. The address is easy to find if you’re coming down the main road. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a room where we keep our papers and meet up. Usually, there's some tea and a lot of discussion about the weather or the local markets. Farming is tough work and doing it alone is even tougher. That’s why we got together. We spend our time looking at what the local fields need and how we can get things moving for everyone. It’s a very simple setup. If you walk past Sachin’s house on Shivaji Road, you’ll likely see some of us standing around. We’ve been here for a bit now and the locals know what we’re about. It’s just about the crops and the people who grow them.
