Ansari Bricks

Ansari Bricks is located in Village-Rauta, right in the Baisa block. It’s a quiet spot, mostly surrounded by fields. We started this because there was a need for building materials right here in the village. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. There is a small shack where we keep our registers and some tea. Most of the day is spent out in the open, watching the kiln or checking the clay. The soil here in Rauta is pretty good for what we do. We have a few families from the area who have been working with us for years. It’s more like a group of neighbors working together than a company. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just hear about us through word of mouth. Sometimes the local farmers stop by to talk about the weather or the crops. Baisa is a small place, so news travels fast. We’ve had days where the rain stops everything, and we just sit and wait it out. It's part of the job. We don’t use any corporate talk or try to sound like we’re from a big city. We’re just local people making bricks for local houses. The work is hard on the hands, and we're usually tired by sunset. But seeing a new wall go up in the village using our bricks feels alright. It’s a simple, steady life here for all of us.
