Hotel Ananda

We have been running Hotel Ananda for quite a while now. You can find us right at the Shahid Aloke Market, near the bus stand in Durgapur. The address is G T Road, Durgapur 713201. Being so close to Station Road means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our doors. It is a very busy part of town. We see many folks who just got off a long bus ride and need a place to sit down for a bit. The building has been here for years, and it shows its age in some spots, but we try to keep it decent for everyone. Living and working on G T Road is never quiet. There are trucks and buses passing by at all hours of the night. We do not have a fancy lobby or any of those modern things you see in big cities. It is just a plain, local hotel. We spend our days handling the front desk and making sure things are mostly in order. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is a bit slow, but that is just how things are around here. We know most of the other shopkeepers in the market. It feels like a little community. If you are looking for us, just ask anyone at the bus stand. They usually know where the Shahid Aloke Market is. We just keep the doors open and do our work.
