Zhansurya Classes

You can find Zhansurya Classes over in Bhosarigoan, right near Nepean Sea Road. It’s an interesting spot because the neighborhood has its own pace. Our classroom isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how many students we bring in at once. The floor is made of old tiles that have a few cracks here and there, but it’s kept clean. We spend most of our time standing in front of the board, trying to make sense of different subjects for the local kids. There is a small desk near the entrance where we keep the registers and some spare pens. It’s not the quietest place in the world since the sounds of the neighborhood come right through the windows, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been running things this way for a while, keeping it simple and direct. Sometimes the chalk dust gets everywhere, covering the table and the floor by the end of the evening. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us handling the teaching and the cleaning and everything else that comes up. The light in the hallway flickers a bit, but we’ve learned to ignore it. Most of the families around here know where we are, so we don't need a big sign outside. It’s just a practical space where students come to learn and we do our best to help them out. Sometimes the rain makes a lot of noise on the roof.
