Disha Study Circle

Disha Study Circle is a place in Pune where students come when they need a quiet spot to get their head into their books. We started this because we saw how many kids were struggling to find a good environment to prepare for their exams. Pune is a big city for education, and there is always a lot of pressure on students here. Our setup is pretty basic. We have desks, chairs, and enough light for people to read by. It’s not a fancy coaching center with big advertisements. It is more of a community space where everyone is focused on the same goal. You’ll see students drinking tea during their breaks and talking about their subjects. We try to keep the atmosphere serious but not stressful. Some of us help out with questions when we can, but mostly it’s about giving people the space they need. The shelves are usually stacked with old textbooks and notes that have been passed down. It gets pretty crowded during exam season, and sometimes we have to squeeze in an extra table. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who look after the place and make sure things are running okay. It feels like a second home for a lot of the regulars. We’ve seen many students come through these doors, study hard, and move on to whatever is next for them. That’s just the daily life at our circle.
