Yumi Fair & Beauty Parlour

We opened up Yumi Fair & Beauty Parlour here in Narayan Peth quite some time ago. Our place is tucked inside Sai Ishwar Apartment on Kelkar Road. It’s a busy part of Pune, so we see all kinds of people walking in from the street. Most days, we are just busy with the usual things like haircuts, threading, or maybe someone wanting a facial because they have a wedding to go to on the weekend. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the regulars by name. The shop isn't huge, but it is enough for what we do every day. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner brings us snacks while we work. It gets a bit crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, especially in the evenings when everyone realizes they need a trim before Monday. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no fancy waiting room or anything, just some chairs and the mirrors. If you live around Kelkar Road, you probably know where we are located. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we are still here doing the same work. It is mostly just about getting the job done so people can go about their day. We keep our tools clean and just chat with whoever is in the chair. It is a decent way to spend the day. If the door is open, we are usually inside working.
