Yogin Gift House is right here in Chinchwad. We’ve been open for a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from plastic toys to greeting cards. It gets a bit messy sometimes when new stock arrives in big cardboard boxes. I spend a lot of time just dusting the shelves or moving items around to make space. Customers usually come in looking for something last minute. Maybe a birthday party is starting or they need a small wedding gift. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. You just walk in and look around for yourself. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of noise, but it keeps the heat away during the afternoons. The floor is a bit worn out from all the people walking through over the years. Chinchwad is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street outside. I try to keep things organized, but it’s hard with so many tiny items. We have some glass vases and some clocks hanging on the walls. Most people who live nearby know the shop quite well. It’s not a huge place, but there’s enough room to walk between the aisles. I remember when we first started, there wasn't much on this street. We just keep doing our thing every day. Open in the morning, close late in the evening. It’s a lot of work but it's what we do. If you need a card or a small ribbon, we probably have it buried somewhere in the back drawers.
