D K Marketing

Our business, D K Marketing, is located on the ground floor near Chinchechi Talim in Ganesh Peth. If you know the area, you know it is one of the busiest parts of the city with lots of trading going on. We are at number 109, and being on the ground floor makes it much easier for loading and unloading goods. We deal with various products and spend a lot of our time moving boxes around or talking on the phone with suppliers. It gets quite noisy outside with the traffic and the general market buzz, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls; it is more of a practical space where work actually happens. We focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the inventory is correct. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at once, but we just handle it one box at a time. The people around Ganesh Peth are mostly traders and workers, so the atmosphere is very down-to-earth. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other folks on the street. It is a straightforward operation. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on top of the small details every day.
