Yashwant Classes

Shaniwar Peth is one of those old parts of Pune where the lanes are narrow and everything feels very close together. We are at 466 Vaman Niwas, tucked away in Harihareshwar Lane. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The building itself is quite old, like many others in this area. Yashwant Classes operates out of a few rooms there. It’s not very big. We have students coming in from all over this side of town. The atmosphere is very quiet, mostly because the lane doesn’t get too much heavy traffic, just two-wheelers mostly. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything, just the old ceiling fans that hum all day. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and everyone says hello. We keep our doors open most of the time. The walls have some old charts on them that have been there for years. We spend our days mostly grading papers or explaining things at the board. It feels like a very traditional way of doing things. No big computers or shiny gadgets around here. Just pens, paper, and a lot of talking. It is a bit cramped when the bigger groups arrive, but we make it work somehow. It’s just a local Pune setup.
