Yashda Agri Genetics Research Private Limited

We’re located in Flat 205 at Radhe Regal Residency, over in Haveli. Specifically, it’s Gat No. 96 in the Dehu area of Pune. It’s an apartment building, so it’s not your typical looking business spot. We do a lot of our thinking and planning from here. Yashda Agri Genetics is mostly focused on the research side of things, looking at seeds and how things grow. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly, we are just looking at data and trying to see what works best for the local soil. The residency is usually pretty quiet during the day which helps when we need to concentrate. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the charts and papers. We aren't a big lab with white coats and sterile rooms. It is more like a home office where we keep track of our findings. Pune is a good place for this because there is so much agriculture all around us. We spend a lot of time visiting different fields and then coming back here to write it all down. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes we get behind on our notes. But we catch up eventually. It’s just a few of us trying to figure out the science of better crops without making it too complicated. It’s steady work and we like being tucked away in Dehu. We just do our research and hope it helps someone.
