Yash Industries

Yash Industries is out in Chakan at Sr No 620, near the 29 Milestone on the Pune Nashik Highway. This part of Village Kuruli is always busy with big trucks and factory workers. We operate from a shed that gets quite hot in the summer months. There is always the sound of machinery running and the smell of oil and cut metal. It is an industrial area, so everything is about getting the work done on time. We deal with various metal parts and fabrication work mostly. The highway is right there so we see a lot of traffic going towards Nashik all day long. Our floor is usually covered in some metal shavings or grease. We have a few guys working the machines and the supervisor stays on top of the daily orders. It is not a clean office job. We wear heavy shoes and our clothes get dirty by noon. We get our raw materials delivered by big lorries and sometimes they get stuck in the mud if it has been raining hard. It is a tough place to work but it is what we do. The village of Kuruli has changed a lot since all the big industries came here. We have been part of this growth for some time now. There is no showroom here, just a big gate and the workshop. People come for work orders and we get to it. It is loud and busy but we keep the machines going.
