Xpilot Farmers Producer Company Limited

This company is run from Trimbak Kashinath Korantak’s place in Niranarsingpur. It’s a small village in Indapur. We chose the name Xpilot just because it sounded modern, even though we are just traditional farmers. We don't have an office with computers and air conditioning. We mostly just meet on the porch at Trimbak’s house. We talk about the water levels and how the crops are growing near the river. Indapur can be a busy place but our village is usually quiet. We are just a few families who decided to pool our resources. We don't have any big mission statements. We just want to get our produce to the market without losing too much money. Sometimes the transport is a nightmare and we have to sit and figure out a solution together. We aren't experts at business. We are just learning as we go. My neighbor helps with the paperwork when he has time between his own farm duties. There are no fancy suits here, just people in their work clothes. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and discussing the local news or the weather. If you come by, you might find us checking the bags of grain or just resting in the shade of the big tree out front. It’s not a high-speed life. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay together.
