Wonder Hair Art

Wonder Hair Art is a local barber shop situated at 473 Ganga Nath Maharaj Road in Guruwar Peth. We are right in the Kachi Aali area, which is a very old and traditional part of Pune. The streets here are narrow and always full of people and scooters. Our shop is a small, simple place where men come for a quick haircut or a shave. We have the classic revolving chairs and big mirrors on the walls. It’s not one of those fancy salons you see in the malls. It’s a place where you can sit down, hear the latest local news, and get your hair cut without any fuss. The floor is usually covered in hair until we sweep it up between customers. We use basic tools like scissors, combs, and electric clippers. The smell of shaving cream and cheap aftershave is always present. I’ve been cutting hair in Guruwar Peth for a long time, and I know most of the men who walk through the door. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to a news channel or a cricket match. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have a couple of ceiling fans that keep the air moving. It’s a humble business, but it serves the neighborhood well and we’ve been here for years.
