Our place is located right above Shakti Ford in Malad West, specifically at A/63/7. People sometimes mention the Katraj area when they are talking about us, but we are definitely right above the Ford dealership here. It's a bit of a climb up sometimes but we’ve been here for a good bit now. Mostly, we deal with all kinds of electronics and parts that people are looking for. The shop isn't very large so we have to keep things stacked pretty high on the shelves. It’s a busy area and the noise from the street usually drifts up through the windows throughout the day. We spend a lot of time testing boards and making sure everything is in working order before it goes out. Sometimes the inventory gets a little messy when a big shipment comes in, but we sort through it eventually. It is just a few of us here doing the daily work. We don't have a fancy front desk or anything like that. Most people who come here already know what they are looking for and just want to get their parts and get back to their own jobs. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on various repairs or orders. It’s a pretty simple setup. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years from our spot. Dealing with electronics means there is always something new to figure out, which keeps things interesting even on the slower days when we organize the capacitors.
