Vrundvan Beauty Parlour

Our little parlor is located in the heart of Pune City, which is always a bit of a squeeze. Vrundvan isn't a huge place, just a few stations where we do haircuts and facials. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some old pictures of styles on the wall, though nobody really looks at them anymore. Most of the ladies who come here live in the nearby buildings. They've been coming to us for years, so we know most of them by name. We spend a lot of time talking while we work, mostly about family or what's happening in the market. The street outside is always full of people and the sound of horns is constant. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We try to keep our tools clean and organized, though by the end of a busy Saturday, things can get a bit messy. It’s just a honest way to earn a living. We don't have any fancy marketing or social media stuff. People just walk in because they saw the sign or a friend told them about us. We just do the work and hope people are happy enough to come back next month. It is a basic setup, but it has been our daily life for a long time now.
