Voodoo Lifestyle Saloon For Women. Third floor of the Wonderland Building. It’s on East Street in Camp. Sometimes the elevator is slow so people take the stairs. Being on the third floor means it’s a bit quieter than the street level, which is nice when things get hectic outside. We mostly handle hair and some basic skin stuff for the ladies around here. It isn't a huge place, just a few stations and a small waiting area that’s usually full of handbags. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after a long day. The light comes in through the windows in the afternoon and makes the place feel warm. We have our tools spread out, the hair dryers going, and the sound of someone chatting in the corner. It's just a regular spot for women to get things done. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us working. Sometimes we run out of coffee or the magazines get old, but the work gets finished. Pune’s East Street has so much energy, and we are just one part of it up here in our building. Most people know the Wonderland Building because of the shops downstairs. We’ve got our routine down. Morning starts with checking the supplies and making sure the mirrors are clean. It’s a job like any other, keeping us busy from morning till evening. We just take it one customer at a time and try to keep the place tidy. There is always hair on the floor, no matter how many times we sweep.
