Vivik Printers

Vivik Printers is based out of Kothrud. We’ve been doing printing work here for quite some time now. Kothrud is a busy residential and commercial hub, so there is always someone needing something printed, whether it is for a school project or a small local event. Our shop smells like ink and paper most of the time, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. We have a few machines that hum away in the background while we work. They aren't the newest models, but they get the job done if you treat them right. Sometimes they jam, and we have to spend an hour getting things back on track, but that’s just part of the trade. We don't have a big storefront with neon lights. It is just a plain door where people walk in with their files or hard copies. We talk to the customers, figure out what paper they want, and tell them when it will be ready. Usually, we are juggling a few different jobs at once. It can get a bit frantic when there is a deadline, but we manage. We like being in Kothrud because the people are familiar and we know the neighborhood well. It is a steady way to spend the day, working with our hands and making sure the colors look okay on the page before the customer picks them up. It's hard work, but satisfying in its own way.
