Villageyaa Agrestic Agro Private Limited operates from Building No F at River Residency in Dehu Alandi. We are on the second floor in Flat 208. It is a bit different running an agro business from an apartment complex, but it works for what we do. Most of our time is spent coordinating things between the fields and the markets. We have a lot of phone calls to make and papers to sign. The view of the river is nice when things get stressful. We aren't a huge team. It is just a few of us trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the hallway gets crowded if we have visitors, but we make do. We focus a lot on how things are grown and getting those products out to people. It’s a lot of logistics. Dehu Alandi is a busy place and we fit right in with the noise. We started this because we wanted to get things from the farms to the city folks easier. It’s a learning process every day. Some weeks are slower than others. We handle the billing and the scheduling right from the flat. It’s not your typical farm office with tractors out front, but we stay connected to the soil through our partners. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our head above water with all the regulations. It's busy work and it’s a lot to handle for a small group.
