We operate out of Karve Nagar, right near the Rajaram Bridge. Our work keeps us outdoors most of the time, which is how we like it. We deal with land and gardens, so we’re usually covered in a bit of dirt by the end of the day. It’s not a glamorous business. We spend a lot of our hours hauling plants, digging holes, and trying to get the irrigation to work right. The weather around the bridge can be a bit unpredictable, so we’ve learned to work fast when the sun is out. We have a small crew and we’ve been working together for quite a while now. We don't have a fancy headquarters. Our "office" is mostly the back of a truck filled with shovels, rakes, and bags of fertilizer. We’ve seen this part of the city grow and change, and we’ve worked on a lot of the patches of green you see around here. Sometimes the soil is stubborn or the plants don't take, and we have to figure out why. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just tell them what will grow and what won't. It’s honest, physical work that leaves you tired but feeling like you actually did something useful. We don't have a marketing team or a social media manager. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves. Most days are long, but we enjoy the fresh air.
