Vijaya Industries

Our workshop for Vijaya Industries is over in Chinchwad at Vimal Vihar, Sr No-26. We are right opposite the Padamji Paper Mill, so it’s easy to find us if you look for the big landmark. It’s a noisy place because of the machines running. We do a lot of small-scale industrial work here. The floor is usually a bit greasy and there are metal scraps in the corners, but that's what a working shed looks like. I spend a lot of time checking the output and making sure the guys are doing okay with the tools. We’ve been at this location for a few years now. The traffic near the mill can be a real pain during shift changes, but we’ve learned to plan around it. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. We have a small desk in the corner where I do the billing and talk to the clients who come by. It’s practical work. We make things that people need for their own businesses or projects. Sometimes a machine breaks down and the whole day goes into fixing it, which is frustrating. But when everything is humming along, it feels right. We don't have a big team, just a few reliable hands who know the job. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know how to do. The guys have been with me for a while now, and we just keep working.
