You can find us at Vijay Sales in Chinchwad East, specifically at 2/001. Being in Chinchwad means we are right in the thick of things. The shop floor is usually quite busy with people coming in to look at things or ask questions. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of people walking on the tiled floor and the murmur of conversations. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving things around and making sure everything is where it should be. The back office is tiny and usually piled high with boxes and invoices that we need to sort through. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially during the festival seasons when everyone seems to be out shopping at once. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy speeches or meetings. We just try to keep the stock organized and help the people who walk through the door. The lighting is bright and the air conditioning usually works, which is a relief in the summer. We’ve got a small staff who have been here for a long time, so we know how the place runs. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing in the heart of Chinchwad. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s just work.
