A. D. Impex

You can find A. D. Impex at G - 22 in the Sacred Heart complex over in Wanawadi. It’s a pretty quiet area, which is nice because we don't have to deal with too much street noise while we work. The office is small, just a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets where we keep all the shipping papers. We spend most of our day on the computer or talking on the phone to sort out export and import details. Wanawadi is a good place to be based, even if the courier drivers sometimes get lost trying to find our specific block. I usually have to walk down to the main gate to meet them. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us handling everything. There are some plants by the window that we try to keep alive, though they look a bit sad sometimes. The internet goes out now and then, which makes things difficult when we are trying to track a shipment. We don't really do any marketing; most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. It’s a steady way to work without too much fuss. We just keep the records straight and try to make sure everything gets where it’s supposed to go. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and the office stays relatively calm most days.
