Vijay Dryfruits

You can find Vijay Dryfruits over at Market Yard, specifically in the Malliga Layout at number 187. Market Yard is always a whirlwind of activity, especially in the early hours of the morning when all the trucks are coming in. We spend a lot of our time surrounded by bags of almonds, cashews, and raisins. It’s a good smell to work with every day. The layout here at 187 is a bit tight, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and packing them into smaller bags for people. It’s simple work but it keeps your hands busy. We don't have a big flashy sign or anything. Most people just know us by word of mouth or they see the shop as they are walking through the market. Malliga Layout is a busy spot, so there is always someone new popping their head in to see what we have. We aren't some big international company. We are just a small shop trying to make an honest living. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside and have tea while watching the crowds go by. It’s a lot of standing and talking to customers, which can be tiring, but it’s what we do. We like being part of the Market Yard energy. It feels like the heart of the city's trade and we are glad to be here.
