M/S. Shantilal G. Shah Kajuwala has been tucked away in the heart of Ganesh Peth for a long time. Our spot is at 189/A in Pangul Ali, and if you have ever been here, you know it gets incredibly crowded. It is one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and there is always some commotion happening outside our door. We handle a lot of cashews and nuts, so the warehouse area is usually pretty packed with heavy sacks. It is a family-run kind of place, and we don't have a marketing department to write fancy letters. We just sell the stock we have and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. The shop floor is always busy with people lifting heavy bags and weighing things out. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty, but that is just how it goes when you deal with bulk goods. We’ve known most of our neighbors for years, and we often chat with them during slower hours. There is no big neon sign, just our name painted on a board. We start our work early in the morning when the air is still a little bit cool. Most of our day is spent talking to customers and checking the batches that come in. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy. We are just the Kajuwala shop in Pangul Ali, doing what we have always done.
