Delight Nuts

If you are looking for us, we are at Tilok Bhavan, number 10/1-A on Elphinstone Road. This is the Bopoli area, and it’s a place with a lot of history. Delight Nuts is exactly what it sounds like; we handle a lot of cashews, almonds, and other dry fruits. The shop has that specific smell of roasted nuts and burlap bags. It is a ground-floor space, and we spend a lot of time weighing things out and bagging them for customers. The Elphinstone Road is quite wide, but it still gets congested near Bopoli. We have been in Tilok Bhavan for a while, and the building has its own quirks. Sometimes the walls are a bit damp when it rains, or the lighting is a bit dim, but it’s our home. We aren't a big supermarket chain; we are just a local spot where you can get your snacks. We have some regulars who come in every week just to chat while we fill their orders. It is a simple business, really. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the shelves organized. There is a lot of lifting involved, moving the heavy sacks around, so it keeps us moving. We like being part of the Bopoli neighborhood. It is a noisy, busy place, but it feels right for what we do. Sometimes the dust from the sacks gets everywhere, but that’s just part of the daily grind.
